Hello there...

I searched for similar topics but there is none so here's my post. I have a Macbook with 2GHz Core Duo....got it 14 months ago and everything worked fine until yesterday...

1) I couldn't install anything at all. Tried to install iWorks and the installation process would 'forced quit' itself....then the Problem Reporter will crash and gives me 3 options (Ignor, Report or Relaunch). I can press any button and the window will come back out after 3-5 seconds....it won't go away until I restart the Macbook.
2) So I tried updating the software and see if anything can be done....nope....even my software update wouldn't work....it quits immediately.

My other programs work fine....and that really scratches my head.

Anyone has similar problems? Care to share your wisdom?

Thanks so much.....

:)

i had a smiler kind of problem where i was not able to install any software updates from apple. so the only solution at that time was reinstall leopard.

Did it work for you after the reinstallation?
