The installer process starts up automatically and frequently. Conserves almost all the memory and macbook hangs. Solution for this problem?

"The installer" is probably from something you have installed and isn't part of the System Software. You need to figure out with which application or add-on it is associated.

Go back to Activity Monitor and select installer, then hit command-i to bring up this info window. Go to the Open Files and Ports tab like in my screenshot and that should help you see where the file is so you can get rid of it.
