I have just installed Adobe CS 4 on my 1.2 iBook G4 (1GB of RAM w/ a 30GB hard drive.) Obviously CS 4 filled up 25GB rendering me to only 5GB of free space after install. HAHAHAHA yes very funny. I have heard that it is possible to Install the CS4 on to an external hard drive and use the software from there??? If possible can someone please give me pointers and tips on doing so.

Any information is greatly appreciated thanks  ***

well, I will say, that having run CS4 since it came out, on a powerbook G4, a PowerMac G5 and my MacBook Pro, I would not suggest using that on your iBook, it's going to crawl, and take up far more hard disk space than it's even remotely worth. Stick with CS3 or CS2 for that machine with those specs.

As for installing to an external, if you really want to, just choose that drive as your install folder during setup and make sure it's plugged in whenever you want to use the programs.
