installing an ssd as a second drive macbook

hi i just installed an ssd on my late 2008 aluminum macbook which im going to use as the startup disk. all i want to transfer on that is the settings i had set up on the original hdd(mouse options,background,folder options,passwords etc.) and my apps but i am having a little trouble doing that. can someone guide me through this please ? thanks in advance

You can use Migration Assistant, just type it in Spotlight.
