Hi folks,
Just bought a 16gig ipod touch. ver1.1.4
with 5 new apps.
If I want 3rd party apps then I must jailbreak first but if Apple has opened up the software from developers why would I jail break??
Also if I go to the apple web site and then apps (apple approved) am I correct in assuming the only way to install them is over the wifi connection, not onto my PC then some how through I-tunes??

thanks in advance

John

the apps on apples pages are web apps, you news wifi for them to work, you would need to jailbreak to get non Internet based apps
