Installing different makes and sizes of RAM

Hi Everyone,

I've just replaced the ram in my Mac Pro 3,1 and installed 8Gb (4 x 2Gb) of Integral RAM where I've placed 4Gb in risers A and B and in slots 1 & 2.

However I have a spare 2Gb (2 x 1Gb) made by Hynix and I need to know if its ok to mix the brands and place them in slots 3 & 4 on riser A?
