I just bought a Macbook and when i try to Install photoshop after clicking on the Setup.exe file, I choose stuffit expander for the application to open it with, then it askes for a destination so i pick a destination then a window pops up saying that the file "SETUP.EXE" does not appear to be compressed or encoded. It is advised that you obtain further information about the contents of this file from the sender or provider of the file. I went under the info file that said it could work on a mac so im confused, it says the same thing whenever i try to install somthing from a cd.

The .exe extension isn't a format that OS X uses, that's typically found on the Windows platform. Are you sure that is a Photoshop for Mac CD you are installing from? What version is it?

if you installed crossover for mac, it will handle *.exe installer, altho no guarantee about the result.
