INstalling FCstudio - Wont auto eject discs?

Trying to install my academic version of final cut studio 2 on my new mbp - when it comes up with 'please insert disc livetype media 2' etc.. the disc thats in there already wont eject - how can i overcome this? ive tried doing one app at a time, but the soudtrack loops and others come up with 'please insert disc'

edit: Have tried using disc utility which ejects the disc, but when i put in the correct disc, it ejects it.

Guess a trip down to applestore is in order...
