Okay so my MBP got stolen yesterday and I didn't take as many security measures as I should have. Now I know. I think I have set a firmware password already but I am not sure. According to Apples website it says since I am running 10.5 that I need to put in the Leopard disk then go to Applications>Utilities>Firmware Password Utilitiy

However, on my install disc I dont have a Utilities folder in my Apps folder.

Is there any way I can check to see if I have my firmware enabled on this new machine that I bought today or how to enable it in the first place?

Thanks.

Start your computer with the Leopard install DVD. As you start the installer, there will be a Utilities Menu on the Menubar of the installer. The Utility is available there.
