Installing iMovie taking too long

I'm slightly concerned about how long it's been taking for my MacBook Pro to update iMovie. I'm running OS X 10.9. Here's a screenshot I took when I tried to restart my computer.

If this is routine and something I shouldn't worry about, hearing it from here would be a relief. Thanks!

I started this yesterday around noon, and my storage is HDD

I don't know where you are and what time that equates to me, but if it's still running then there's something definitely wrong. Personally, I'd probably force quit it, though I don't know if that's the safest option.
