installing iTunes & verification code

First off - I am not 100% that I am posting this in the correct forum - please let me know if there is a better one.

I am trying to install iTunes on my girlfriend's laptop. That is NOT a problem (even though it's a windows machine - boo!) except that when I try to set iTunes to my account, I enter my password correctly and it tells me that it is sending a verification code to me.

Alas, I believe it is sending this code to my desktop machine. Alas again, I am nowhere near my desktop machine, which is several towns away.

I do, however, also have iTunes on my phone - and it is correctly synced to my account - so my question: is there any way to tell iTunes to send the verification code to my phone?

Yes, you need to make your iPhone a trusted device on your AppleID acct. After that verification codes will automatically send to ALL trusted devices. The way to do this is explained here.. http://www.idownloadblog.com/2015/1...d-devices-apple-id-two-factor-authentication/
