hi there, i am about to upgrade my 2003 G4 iMac (OSX10.3.9 1Ghz Proc, 1Gb DDR SDRAM) from Panther to Leopard. Will this mean totally erasing Panther before installing Leopard, or does this simply enhance the existing system and retain present data?

Would apprecaite any help..........cheers

You can do either. You can either simply upgrade to Leopard, or do an erase and install. The latter will erase Panther and everything on your HD and install Leopard. Or you could do an archive and install, which erases panther but moves your data to an archive.
