Installing Lion Post Mountain Lion?

    What if you have an older computer on 10.6.x that needs to go to 10.7.x, but Apple isn't selling it anymore?

    Buy Mountain Lion and install it. You could call Apple and see if they will sell you Lion.

    Perhaps I wasn't clear...this old machine CAN'T install Mountain Lion.

    I'd keep your machine with Snow leopard, because it is a bit more stable than Lion is. Is there a reason you need Lion?

    Yeah, we need to update it's Xcode install to get the latest iOS SDK.

    No. I wanted to check here first. I'm thinking we can get the legacy build from the development section.
