Installing Macbook 2.26 Restore Disc on Macbook 1.83

Hi guys,

I'm new here.
I'm using OS Tiger on my Macbook 1.83Ghz and have just acquired a new Macbook 2.26Ghz (Snow Leopard...duh). But I wanna upgrade my Tiger to Snow Leopard with all the new cool iLife stuff using my Restore Disc from my Macbook 2.26.
Is it possible?
Or I have to get a Leopard OS first?
Or is the hardware totally different and I can't do it?

If it's those gray restore discs you can't. They are machine specific.

Duff-Man says....this is one of the most frequently asked questions on the forum and has been answered a million times already. In addition to the discs being machine specific, you are not licensed to install the software wherever and how many times you like - it is a *single computer* license.....oh yeah!
