So I was wondering if someone could walk me through installing all my Software and ML onto a new SSD.
I'm replacing the current HDD in my MBP 2010 with an SSD, then placing the HDD in the Optical bay. What I'd ideally like is all my Software, Pics and ML on the SSD and all my work etc on the HDD. How do I do this basically?
Am I right in saying I can boot up the MBP after installing the SSD and my MBP will recognise the HDD with ML on it? If this is right, how do I copy everything across?
If thats wrong, how do I come about doing this?
Thanks

1. First off you need to make a bootable USB with Mtn Lion on it
2. Install SSD, remove HDD.
3. Boot from USB and install OS X
4. Add HDD to Optibay and copy any important data i.e.: pics, music, documents, videos from the HDD to the SSD
5. Format HDD
6. Move all important data back to HDD from SSD

If you put in an SSD in place of the HDD, dont expect it to magically work and be preloaded with OS X or something.
