I want to have multiple copies of the native iPhone app MobileToDoList installed on my phone but with different names like "School", "Groceries", "DVDs" etc. The reason for this is that this app displays a red number badge (like Mail.app and Installer) on the home screen. Can someone tell me how to accomplish this?

you would have to download the app on your computer, rename it to whatever your "category" is, then put it in the applications folder on your iphone. that should work ;)

I tried that already. That just creates empty spots on the homescreen next to the original MobileToDoList icon. I even tried changing the name within the package contents to reflect the category name but got the same result.
