I'm upgrading the hard drive in my 13 inch MBP to 320GB. After I install it, how do I reload OS X and all related applications? I'm new to Apple. Do I just pop the CD in the drive and boot it up as normal? Thanks.

A good and fast way to upgrade is to get an external enclosure (USB) or firewire) to use with the new drive. After cloning the internal drive (with Carbon Copy cloner or superduper) to the new external drive (and testing that it boots from the external) you just have to swap the drive. In the end you will have the new drive with all the software already installed and the older drive will have a nice enclosure so that you can use it as a backup drive.
