Installing new RAM question

Getting ready to surprise my daughter with new iMac. I have 32g of additional RAM to install along with the existing 8g. Do I place the 16g sticks in the 2 empty slots or where the 4g sticks are now?

I upgraded mine about 1 hour ago. Just use the empty slots.
