I did a clean install of Panther and did not archive old settings and stuff. When Panther was installing it said it was installing a bunch of languages. I dont't care for any of them except english. Is there any way to not have Panther install all of them or should I just leave it alone and let it do its thing? Thanks for ther help.

there are specialized apps available for your problem, but i guess it would still be easiest to install the system again, if you just installed it and have nothing to back up yet. pay attention to the customizing options during the install.

and...

if you want that your system keeps its performance over time, please partition your disk (with disk utility during install) so that there is one 15GB partition in the beginning of the disk, where the performance is best.
