I'm having problems updating my quicktime its currently running on 7.0,i've been trying over the weekend to install the 7.6.1 version that i downloaded from the official apple quicktime download site,when i try to install the update onto my hard drive it gets to 3% download of the software and abruplty stops with a message saying there were errors installing the software,try installing again,well ive tried and tried and tried lol,what could the problem be?my system is an imac tiger 10.4.11 and i use firefox as my browser,could there be issue with using firefox to download the software?or do i have to uninstall my old quicktime version before installing the new updated software?im stuck with what to do😕
