Ok I have a Macbook Pro Mid 2009 model and here's the specs http://support.apple.com/kb/SP541

As I'm aware, it only has 2GB ram and I was wondering what type of ram I should install and which one would work best for a faster performance. I was even just thinking about adding 4gb but if 8gb would make it significantly faster, I'd buy it. I tried using VMware to operate Windows and iOS at the same time, my performance slowed down pretty bad. Would 8GB fix this?

I went to Best Buy a moment ago and the rep told me to buy a Corsair DDR3 8gb Laptop Ram from their website.

He suggested I buy this http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-DDR3-...F8ZG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1304128093&sr=8-1

Can you guys help me decide which ones the best one to buy?

Um, that's the wrong RAM for a mid 2009.

You need DDR3 1066MHz (PC3-8500).

Go to Crucial.com for your memory needs.
