10A436?

Aprovecho para preguntar: ¿alguien sabe con certeza si vamos a poder comprarlo el mismo viernes en los Apple Shops de los Corte Inglés en Madrid?

Saludos."

Could be fake, I can't tell.

For me the customised dock goes a long way to discounting it as real. If somebody wishes to prove a build number they are likely to install, snap build number then customise. It was also taken yesterday according to his iCal dock icon. Considering it was only announced yesterday.

Not sure about his story where he bought it either. El Corte Inglés is similar to John Lewis, When Amazon aren't shipping their copies until next week, I'm unsure if they would have them.

Sorry, it's NOT 4 hours.

More like 30 minutes on a desktop mac with a clean partition. Mac OS X install is start and forget, no baby sitting required, so I didn't time it.

Really?

I've installed Snow Leopard before I know how long it takes. OP said he is going to check the build number when installation is complete, which was hours ago.

waaayyyyyy over your head.

Back on topic, the fellow who got the Mini disc said it was 436 to, so it seems likely.

This is not an image posted by the OP of the applesfera.com blog, it's just a comment from some user.

Translation:

It seems that 10A436 is the final version. This screen capture supposedly
proofs:

I am useful to ask: Anybody trully knows if we are going to be able to buy SL this Friday on El Corte Ingles' Apple Shops?

Seems 10a432 is the GM according to various people right now who have managed to get the retail disks early. Surprised it has taken this long for people to get it early. Looking forward to Friday

Found this on twitter

slainer68: I confirm that the build on retail Snow Leopard DVD is * 10A432 *. 100% sure now. You may go to sleep now :).

iBuster: 10A432 *is* Snow Leopard Golden Master. Confirmed from retail disc!

I dunno why this: http://browse.geekbench.ca/geekbench2/view/156733 popped up on GeekBench then.

Two options
1. New (final?) build for 10.6(.0)
2. Beta build for 10.6.1

Edit: after looking over the specs of the system, I found some strange stuff.
- Processor Intel Core2 Quad Q9300
- 3.0gHz on a 2.5gHz processor (http://www.intel.com/products/processor/core2quad/specifications.htm)
- Memory Type 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM (DDR2 lolwat)

Very strange because I have no clue how to fake this data

Fixed.

Pics of them doing a clean install and showing the build number or it didnt happen to be specific and spoon feed to you in that case.

Oh gotcha. :) I think twitter is ridiculous too.

I honestly don't know why people use it as a source IMO.

I don't use twitter for news or otherwise, but would you find it more reliable if people posted the same information in article or newsprint form? It's just words on a screen just like anything else. A lot of people are saying that 10a432 is final though.

Oh please, just words by some random bozos? Even twitter allows embedding tiny urls to pictures. Without that it's just noise.
