Installing snow leopard, doesn't fully boot in restart part of installation

So I am install snow leopard on my new MBP 2.66. And when I intsall the update, it goes through the install process. Then it reboots, but it never fully reboots... It just stays on the white screen with the apple logo..

Does anyone know why its doing this?

How much time are you allowing the white screen with the gray Apple logo to go?

Sometimes after major installs, the Apple logo loading screen can last for a while. This also depends on the amount of ram you have I would assume.
