It is my first mac and I have only one cd from windows that I use a lot. It is a library with books that I use as reference etc. I am wondering if this can be installed in the MBP?

The least complicated way, without having to install Windows on this computer. I don't mind having to insert the disc every time I use it, I just want to be able to run it on here. Any way of doing that? Thanks.

Unfortunately, no. If the software was made for Windows then it will not work natively for Mac OS X.

You can run Windows software on a Virtual Machine or use BootCamp and install Windows.
