Installing Something with more than 1 CD

I keep trying to install Dawn of War gold edition (4 cds) after the first cd (which runs smoothly) the second disk installs so slow the progress bar doesn't move. ANybody else having this problem? If so, HOW DO I FIX IT?!?!
