    Hi,
I posted here earlier about changing to the 15" but figured for the mild music production I do on Ableton I don't need that upgrade so instead went for an SSD.
I picked up the Corsair Force 3 which I got a good deal on and I made sure it was made after the defective ones were replaced.
Anyway I put it in the enclosure and when I plugged it into the computer it said that it wasn't recognised so I figured I would switch out the HDD with the SSD and the boot the HDD from the enclosure and just clone it to the SSD.
Now on disc utility the SSD is there and I can see it but it wont show up on Carbon Copy Cloner.
It's probably something simple to do but I'm a bit new to doing this so not really sure what I'm doing.
Any help would be great ... relieve me of my stress!
    Thanks

This could get confusing but I figured this could work.
I went on disc utility but it wouldn't let me transfer to the SSD cause it said the HDD was the boot drive.
So my plan was to use CCC to make a clone on the desktop I could then use that clone to transfer to the SSD.
    That should work?
