I hate to type a short snappy post but,

How do I do this?

I've had a search but I couldn't find any step-by-step instructions on how to do it.

I'm not too keen on virtualisation, I'd rather dual-boot to get the best from gaming and other apps.

Have a look in Applications/Utilities, there is a program there called Boot Camp Assistant. Run this and there is a button Print Installation and Setup Guide.

Boot Camp is really only designed for Vista or XP at the moment. But it works on W7 if you follow the instructions, and if you have an external monitor plugged in to the iMac monitor port.

1. command + space to open spotlight
2. type boot camp in search
3. run boot camp
4. select partition size you want for boot camp, click next
5. insert install dvd
6. click next (install)
7. iMac will reboot
8. install windows as you would on a pc
