Installing Windows Media

I tried installing windows media player today with the .bin file from the Microsoft website. When I double click this file, Excel automatically opens with a bunch of giberish. How am I supposed to go about installing a .bin file?

Open stuffit expander (if you don't have it, go to http://www.stuffit.com and download the free expander) and manually open the file to expand it.

I think I already have that since it comes standard in Tiger. It asked me if I wanted to open it with Stuffit when I was finished w/ my download. I clicked yes and it brought me to the excel page for some reason.

It doesn't come standard with Tiger. Check your Applications folder for it, if it isn't there, download it from aquajet's link. 🙂
