I am trying to install windows through bootcamp on a 2,1 mac pro and it just won't let me. I can't even get pass the download drivers part. The button to continue is shaded out.

Now I also have a 5,1 mac pro. Is it possible to make the windows drive on it, use its drivers, then install it to the 2,1?

For your reference 2,1 is using el capitan and 5,1 is using sierra. Both are using same video card, sapphire 7950.

You can install 32bit windows 10 on your mac pro 1,1 directly without bootcamp.

For 64bit windows 10, following this instruction (It's for W7, but works for w10 also):

Or, you can try create an installation usb drive with both 32bit and 64bit. It will boot on Mac Pro 1,1, then you can choose install 64bit W10.

For drivers, just download it from bootcamp utility, then install what ever needed after windows is installed.
