Hi,

I was wondering if all of the instant messaging applications do not charge each instant message as a text message? As in, the Apollo app and mobile chat, etc.

Thank for any reply

What about a free solution that ties into the SMS system? As in, I could send from the app and it would appear as a text message on my friends' phones.

I know you can sign in with an AOL account and send a SMS to someone in the US who's on AT&T for sure (not sure for other carriers) by sending it to their phone number (ie. +12125554444). I know this doesn't work for Canadian numbers though.
