Apple should just work on the basic mechanics of the system and improve the usability of it. it's so aggravating to upload something to my iDisk because it either takes an incredibly long time or it fails and then locks me out of my iDisk until i restart my Mac. I cannot believe that Apple keeps building on something that already has annoying flaws.

Stop focusing on the iPhone so much and get back to the part that made Apple, Apple.

Fixing bugs? I bet they never thought of that. I'm sure if someone from Apple reads your post they'll get right on it.

It looks like this will be the new Opposite Halo Effect. At first, iPods and iTunes drove many people over to Macs because of their smooth and intuitive user interface as well as design. Now, Apple is being too ambitious and isn't able to support its over expansion of features and services, which could make people decide against buying a Mac thinking it's the same across the line. :)

    Steve Jobs said...

Steve Jobs said that "mobileme will be something to be proud of by the end of the year". Only 5 months away :)

Snow leopard will probably help... how long do we wait for that? January?

Until next year I am using sticky-notes... they never fail me (unless sticky wears out).

I'm not exactly thrilled that it looks like Snow Leopard will be the only way to make MobileMe function as originally advertised.

LOL, what does Snow Leopard have to do with MobileMe functioning?

Anyways, Eddie Cue is probably already hard at work getting everyone to do their jobs the way it should've been done originally. Look at the genius of the iTunes Store, I've hardly ever had any problems with it and it gets 100x the hits that MobileMe does (possibly more). They'll get it working right, just have to be patient (I know that's not many people's strong suit, I'm lucky I have that ability naturally but I feel for those who don't).

Some people have a theory that Snow Leopard will make iCal and Address Book push contacts/calendars up to the cloud instead of just syncing them.

Others hope that Steve Jobs' was referring to push from Mac being enabled in an update before the end of the year

Except for the iPocalypse on July 11th, which was a very poorly planned disaster that resulted in a worldwide crash of the iTunes servers.

I agree though, now that Eddie Cue has taken over, things should begin to go smoother.
