Interesting that the OS X gaming performance is starting to even out and even surpass the 320m.

People get mad when Apple picks the better GPU and sticks with an old CPU
People get mad when Apple picks the better CPU and sticks with Intel GPU

It's not Apples fault that Intel took Nvidia out of the chipset business. Would you want a 3 generation old CPU in a laptop for a better GPU?

You could get the 15, and deal with reality. But, I'm guessing you are just going to cry more, fatty.

The OPs numbers don't tell the whole story as interesting as they are. The 3000 holds its own pretty well against the 320M in more wide ranging usage. But of course people want better cards not one thats better in some and worse than others than the previous card.

Apple could have put a discrete card in to provide better performance.

Just want to note that, real time strategy games in general are more CPU intensive than other genres. In SC2s case it could potentially be that the ancient c2d cpu is actually bottlenecking the 320m.

Eitherway, thats like the only game I play on PC :D, I am very happy to see the benchmarks for the 2011!

I assume the 2011 MBA is more or less the same as the 2010 MBP for these comparisons?

It's not like you can only have one good component. Many non-Apple laptops in the $1000 range feature a great video card AND processor. These are the Pro line of laptops, so you'd think we would get Pro level builds.
