Hi. I've had my new 17" iMac for about a month now, and over the past two weeks or so, it has taken on a weird habbit of waiting about 15 seconds after i push the button to actually fall asleep. Whether i push the power button, or select sleep from the Apple menu, it takes a good long time to actually go to sleep, which is pretty annoying. Anybody else have this problem? Anybody have any ideas as to how to fix this problem? I looked for another thread on this but couldna find one. Thanks for your help.

intel iMac reluctant to sleep

well i've got a pop email, but that doesn't get used that often and this happens consistently every time i put it to sleep. Thanks for the quick reply though.
so either nobody's noticed this thread, or nobody's ever heard of this problem before? What could i possibly do to fix this? Should i call apple or something?
