This instant, 0-100, you've offended me bullsh*t is just getting so old. Its everywhere. TV, Sports, some obscure forum about Mac computers (and Apple Watch Bands ;)).

Maybe the dude is an Indian. Meaning he's from India. I have a friend dating a guy on a work visa. He's an Indian.

Do we really have to describe everyone in the most homogenous way possible?

Why would that guy even want a macbook? Just because your family only wants apple, doesn't mean you should force the guy into it as well.

Thes OP is great by the way hahaha!! But why buy someone you dislike so much something so expensive, get them a token gift and move on....

I'm enjoying the fan fiction that's been written about this family here.

Is the father a good guy? Is this 7-11 guy decent or a home wrecker? Will the child need braces? Just too exciting.

Personally I'm going to wait till this reaches 4-5 pages then binge read it.

As a service to the Apple community, I will marry your third sister. I've already got a 13" MBP with Touchbar, so I should fit right in.

If your willing to spend $1500 on someone you don't really like, I can't wait to see what you would buy for someone you do like. I always wanted a Nissan GTR. I would gladly accept one of those as a gift.

Why should a mod lock the topic because you're triggered about someone saying "Indian"? You're the one that made a big deal out of nothing.

The topic is about whether or not a specific model MacBook will run a specific game. YOU chose to derail it into some race-baiting BS. YOU chose to act holier than thou and cry racism when there is none. And YOU are now pouting because your argument was shot down by multiple people with logic.

OP, the Mac will run EVE. Likely not maxed or anything, but it'll run it adequately and enjoyably, as well as perform amazingly at other things. Though I suggest either picking it up at Microcenter for $1299, or price matching to them to save a couple hundred bucks.

Source: being an unoffended Indian guy that bought one today.

I think the only way to woo her is if you have a lower paying job than the (drum roll please) Indian guy working at the 7-11. So have that in mind before you offer yourself. Else I don't believe you stand a chance.

Seriously though, lets all let these two women do whatever they want with their personal lives. This thread is about a game and a mac, nothing else.

No no my friend there's a whole back story to it too! Several posters have flushed the story out a bit now, there's some racism and liberal talk here and there. But it's so much more than a game and a mac, get into the lore.
 
Man can a topic get MORE derailed? It's like this question has been contaminated. I came here looking for answers, not this crap.

For someone who'd knows not WTF these graphics chips are even for, lets stay on-topic. Otherwise this thread will be locked, if it's not too late already.

It's true. You really need to get the background. The drama. The aroma of slurpies mingling with new Mac smell.

Otherwise it's like skipping the first two Twilight books, and you're just not going to get the whole picture.
