Anyone running DP3 on the Intel Iris Pro?
How optimised are the GPU drivers is it still as laggy as B1/2?

    Here, here !

15" Macbook Pro with Retina Display (Base model - only Iris Pro) and Yosemite DP3.
It runs ok-ish, but keep in mind that performance will be twice as good when the OS reaches the GM build.
For day-to-day use is pretty ok. It sometimes lags when I'm scrolling in Finder (wich sucks) but I can fix that by disabling the transparency in System Preferences.

While performance is bound to get better, the idea that it will be twice as good is just not correct.

Same OpenGL versions, but according to someone who posted here yesterday did say that he did get better performance in the OpenGL part of CineBench and Uniengine Valley. However he did also get some pretty considerable stuttering so it could just be some bugs at play giving the programs in question an incorrect picture of performance.

    Edit: Found the thread
