We use a late 2012 Mac Mini running Catalina 10.15.7 as a media centre. It’s attached to our TV and has been working well for years. Today, suddenly (I’m not sure if I pressed a key by accident), the screen magnified, and I haven't been able to zoom out using the key commands so that it would fit the screen properly again, as it had done previously. I have unchecked all the Accessibility Zoom settings and reset the NVRAM and SMC, which didn’t resolve the issue. Changing the Display settings didn’t help either, and the underscan, which previously had been at its minimum, is now at maximum, which hasn't solved the issue. The problem remains in Safe Mode. I’ve run out of ideas, and spending the last few hours searching online for solutions has not borne fruit. Any help would be hugely appreciated! Thank you!

Perhaps it a setting on the television that is stuck. Many television include zoom settings. Try resetting (not just power cycling) the television

It doesn't appear to be a TV setting issue because the magnification issue is on the Mac Mini alone, not the other TV channels. A hard TV reset didn't help. Thanks, though.
