Intel release the Core 2 Quad Q8400S (2.66 GHz) CPU, think it will come to the iMac? The Core 2 Quad Q8400S is 65W, clocked to 2.66 GHz and priced at $245.

Think it is reasonable to assume we may see this in an upcoming iMac?

Not unless Apple switches the iMac chipset to a desktop from a laptop, which I doubt.
