Intel Website comparison i5 vs i7 Hardly any difference!

    Ive been onto the Intel website befor looking into a macbook pro purchase!

    Theres just the cache thats the diffrence is really stumping up more cash for the i7 worth it? what diffrence am I going to see with an extra 250mb of GPU memmory on the 330?

    i7 has "Embedded Options Available" while the i5 does not; I don't know what that means but it might be a big deal in some situations.

    well, there's also the clock speed.. for the past few years, apple has offered a base chip plus a faster one as an upgrade..

    It doesn't even take an i3 to to use the search feature and click on one of the other 200 threads about this. ;)

    Most people will not find much benefit with the i7 or the 256mb extra GPU memory.

    And it doesn't even take a C2D to install a browser add-on that checks spelling and grammar (in this case, repeated words)

    i5 and i7 are just marketing names; there is a range of cpus under both names.
