    HI,
Can you recommend some good puzzle or mystery games, for adults?......for Mac

Something that makes you think, is fun to play, etc.

Preferably paying, not free. Too much "free games", (unless discounted), most of the time you get what you pay for and get sick of all the advertisement...

    THANKS

If you play Backgammon there is an excellent free one called GNUBG.
No spam or ads, settings from beginner to world class.
If you play at the world class level be prepared to lose often............

Can you give an example of what type of game you are looking at? 3D, board game, etc.

    • There is always the App store puzzles category.
    • I would say the Portal 1 & 2 games are great. They blend puzzles with adventure.
    • Minecraft which is kind of like Lego because you can build many things including working calculators if you know how.
    • Antichamber is a interesting puzzle type game where it uses non-Euclidean geometry and your assumptions to increase the difficulty.

    Thank you guys.

Anything worthwhile and well made to shakeup the mind is welcome.

Even boardgames. Word games, mathematical etc.

There might be something on this Cnet list of interest. One that made me think of this post is The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (but it's Windows only). The Talos Principle looks interesting too and it's available on mac.
