I'm interested in just using Messages+ but instead of paying the $7.99, I might as well buy ISX and get the full package.

So, my question is: Can I purchase ISX and just use Messages+ without installing ISX?

Not as far as I know. I tried talking to them through their email but they were useless.

You could just uninstall IntelliscreenX after purchasing.

That would also uninstall Messages+. If you buy IntelliscreenX for 9.99 it comes with Messages+ built into the app, so if you remove it you remove them both.

Only way to get just Messages+ would be to buy that by itself for 7.99. I think having Intelliscreen is worth 2 bucks for sure though.

It will cost more, but I have purchased Messages+, ISX, Lockinfo, and BiteSMS. I think you'd be happier with the latter 2.

Would it? If you went into Manage>Sources>Packages wouldn't Messages+ and IntelliscreenX be there separately? Of course, when you tried to uninstall IntelliscreenX it would probably say removing Messages+ in the queue. Intelliscreen is great though, keep it!

I don't think so cause when you go to install ISX, it doesn't include Messages+ in the cue.

Nope you can't. Messages+ doesn't show up as a separate package if you installed it from Intillescreen X. Only Intelliscreen shows up as a removable package, Messages+ is just part of that.

And I tried LockInfo and BiteSMS and didn't care for either for some reason. I'm evidently a minority!

Wish i could send you my copies of ISX/M+. Bummer you can't transfer these.

Quick question....Does Messages+ send SMS & MMS through iMessage ? I need to know cuz I recently canceled my Family Unlimited Texting & have been relying strictly on iMessage.
I tried BiteSMS & as much as I love it, it specifically does not support MMS in iMessage. I Checked my data usage after I noticed the lack of support, & AT&T did indeed charge me for 6 MMS messages. They got me on the perfect day. Lol.
Can someone shine some light on this issue ? Thanks
