Has anyone figured out how to customize the ISX yet? I know about the settings to turn on and off the features, etc. but even once I got everything set, the order of items was out of place (i.e. my clock was underneath of my weather whereas it should be on top), as well as the fonts and colors were all off and funky looking.

Is there a way to customize this or do you have to go into a specific file and do it and if so, which file and where do I find it? Thanks

Set the Notification center widget order to manual and set them in the order you want.

Thanks, I'll try it again. I had uninstalled it when I couldnt get it working the way I want, but maybe I'll give it another go.

Previously, when I went into ISX Settings, the option for Notification Center was grayed out and even though it had an arrow I couldnt click on it. Don't know if there was something I was missing to make it active or just a corrupted download.

I would still like more options though and maybe I'll try to have a look for a css file in order to a change font size, colors, remove headings, etc.

It's not a deal breaker for me but more customization settings would definitely be nice.

Is there a way to have notifications only show up in ISX but still have the screen turn on when a notification is received?

I have twitter & facebook off

The ticker showed my rss feeds for a minute

Now i dont see it just the date & time

Is this a bug

Same issue for me. Sometimes I see the feed in the ticker sometimes I don't. Also, I can't seem to mark my email as read through isx. Hopefully they will get these issues fixed.

I've been following their updates on twitter and I'm impressed by the progress they've been making. Here's some good tidbits from the FAQ:

We will be adding integration very soon for BiteSMS and iRealSMS.

I haven't seen any significant change in battery life but this may help those that have:

We highly recommend turning off the stock ticker unless u really use it. It uses 30%+ CPU in Notification Center.

We are performing extensive in-depth tests to detect any battery consumption increases over the next few days and will update this post as more information is gathered. We will try to display empirical evidence to help alleviate concerns.

I did notice a fair amount of battery drain in the last update this morning. They did suggest turning of the ticker uses 30% of the resources. So far I haven't figures out how. I bought a license last night.

Settings-Notifications-Stock Widget-Off

Yeah. If you have the RSS feed, Twitter, and Facebook pages active and set to update on awake, in addition to weather and possibly stocks and possibly more, it's gonna chew up battery. I mean, I 'wake' my phone 30 times a day or so? If it's updating all of those services every time it wakes, I'm not surprised it drains battery. I can change the settings if it becomes a real problem, but I like it to update all of those services.

This is arguably the most impressive tweak I've ever seen. Everything that it does, just awesome.

Can't wait for the biteSMS integration.

I think they meant to turn off the ticker from intelliscreenx not the apple stock market ticker

I'm going with they meant the Apple stock ticker since they said the "stock ticker"

There's no way they'd recommend you turn off a feature they implemented. Talk about terrible marketing. Why even have it there in the first place?

I think you're right about referring to the Intelliscreen X ticker, and not the Apple Stock ticker. From what I saw in Intelliscreen, this provides updates to all the functions you have enabled on the app.

I highly doubt Apple's stock switcher uses 30% of the CPU resources.

But I can see where intelliscreenx does. It's cool but I don't need it chewing up battery. I don't think they meant Apple's stock but thairs.

I agree it seems like their solution takes up more processor and thus battery. Just seems a little odd to hear a company/dev tell you not to use something they made. I guess that's why it's a beta, hah.

Edit: Just saw this on their Twitter..

Why? If it's constantly updating stock prices it would.

The only way I could stop the ticker from running across the screen was to remove the Stock ticker from Notifications.

That's the same thing I did. I turned it off I will keep my eye on the battery really close. I could charge my phone 100% when I go to bed. When I wake up battery is at 65% .

Has it been 3 days ?

How does the trial end

I won't get anymore updates ?

Cause it still working

They reset the trials yesterday so that people with issues could have a better ISX experience before their trial ends. Pretty awesome of them.
