TheInquirer.net did a review of these yesterday and they seemed very impressed by them.

Might be an alternative to the Intel's...

there's also the M28 Torqx lineup which is about the same price as the one linked, but has faster write speeds, uses < 1/2 the power. But it also is only 1M hours MTBF rather than the linked unit's 2.5M hours. Still, with both having 10 yr warranty hard to balk at either.
 
So, does anyone know when they will be available again? Or a competing brand name that would work just as well?

Newegg.com or Amazon.com, but they are currently not shipping them due to an issue with the drives.
 
any more updates on the shipping availability of these?

also, were all of the "you can't install windows on a bootcamp partition" issues worked out w/ these x25-m's?

I'd love to have a 160 of these for OS installs....
