Interactive widgets

I only use the Reminders widget on my phone so far and it's more annoying than useful. I constantly mark them as completed when I don't want to when scrolling or trying to actually open the app.

This!!!!! So so many reminders set to completed and never actually done and forget about

But for skipping song you can use dynamic island. That will be mess with more options to controle the music.

It's possible even from controle center. 🫣

Not all iPhones/iPads have a Dynamic Island, and if you happen to be on homescreen a widget is quicker to use to skip then swiping control center to do… its called giving users options.

Anyone come across any third party interactive widgets yet? I know about Apple's music, reminders and home widgets but I don't use any of them.

Could you maybe change this topic to a wiki so that I could add some to the TS?

For now as others said only when you have iOS17 beta installed and with TestFlight version of some apps (if mentioned in their update notes / socials).

A few that I know for certain that are in TestFlight and mentioned it on socials (e.g. Mastodon) as having interactive widgets:
- Launcher widget by Cromulent Labs
- Power Player Music Player - their TestFlight.
- Tally • Quick Counter - their TestFlight.
- Timery for Toggl

I'm collecting them again in a collection.

See a link to the interactive widget collection currently existing of 63 apps (and counting).
The majority of apps has been updated in the App Store since iOS17 has been rolled out for (public) beta testers.

In addition I created and maintain collections for:
