When my wife gets intercom notifications on her series 4 watch, then play and reply button doesn’t function when she tries to hit it. She gets the notification, but the buttons just won’t work.

It works fine on her 12 Pro, and they work fine on my series 5.

Anyone else have this bug? Tried a soft reset and no luck.

I am having a lot of trouble getting intercom to work on my S4 as well. When I invoke the intercom command, siri responds “turn on intercom in your home settings of your home app”. Problem is they are all already enabled and working well between homepods and iphones. So there is nothing to turn on. Intercom seems to run really glitch on my AWS4. Hopefully there is an update and a native “intercom” app in the future...

Ya I’m hoping 7.1.1 fixes some of these intercom bugs.

If it works well, it renders Walkie talkie obsolete for 2 person households imo. All of the benefits including always on and none of the wasted battery.

My AWS4 suddenly decided to start working today and is getting intercom notifications. Didn’t do anything in particular, it just started working.
