Interested in selling my appleTV2 should I redo the jailbreak first?

I know I need to remove my iTunes account information etc etc. But should I also take the extra steps and redo the jailbreak, or is there no need too because there's no way to access my data and stuff after its removed?

I think you can access the data directly if you physically tether your Apple TV to a computer. I recall reading about doing that when I originally rooted my ATV2.
