There were a couple things on here that I hadn't realized. I knew music and fitness were available at all times and was fairly certain about apple pay, but passbook and voicemail syncing were news to me.

Seems a little strange (but I guess some will find it useful) listening to 'old' voice mails. Odd Apple chose to sync voice mails from the iPhone instead of just relying on the iPhone to 'feed' them but I guess anything extra is better than nothing.:D

If you find a Wifi Hotspot, you can even use messaging and other data relevant apps without the iphone.

If connected to wifi without your phone, it cannot read emails?, so it's literally a direct pair with the iPhone, using iPhone for all the processing?

I believe the watch can act independently of the iPhone if it is on a "trusted" WiFi network.

Im not sure exactly how Apple is defining one of those yet.

I think it means Wi-Fi networks your iPhone have connected to at some point. When your watch is near your phone, it collects information on all the networks the phone knows about. Then when the watch is away from the phone, it can connect to those same networks.

Yeah. I think it's just so you never have to enter a WiFi password on your watch.

I think Apple stated somewhere if there is a known wifi hotspot near the watch can use it. Known being the ones stored in iCloud if I'm not mistaken.
