Eh, I wouldn’t get too excited just yet. With Shortcuts, you can have Siri say any specified phrase you choose. The odd part of this video is you don’t hear the user’s query to get this response from Siri. I call hoax but I won’t be mad if I’m wrong. I’d very much welcome a HomePod with a display.

Yeah. I’m with you on this. By now , there’d have been some whispers of this coming and there have not been.
And you’re correct. I could get Siri to say “the answer is displaying holographically, right above your table” in about 5 seconds longer than it took me to type that. Literally.

Oh I know its been out there before, but the usual people haven’t said anything about it in a very long time (Gurman, Kuo, Prosser, etc…)
I have mixed feelings if this turns out to be true. I feel like it'll be another swing and a miss from Apple.
Still, whatever... I'd get a lot more excited about replacement hardware for the OG HomePods (One of mine smells like a toaster at the moment) than I would about any device with a screen though.
