What's the point? I'm sure I can come up with a crappy website full of the less than savory business practices of Dell or Microsoft.. but why would I? If this guy wants people to stick with Windows, that's great.

Wow, look at all those insults on his guestbook. This guy pissed off the wrong cult :D.

Sure there is, but these are half-truths, jumped conclusions, and outdated information.

It sure is true that 15 years ago Macs were proprietary through-and-through, it was a bear to upgrade them with Memory, let alone any kind of accelerator (anyone remember NuBus?). I could go on, but then, I've made my point.

I think that the reason for the timing of the site is that the popularity of Macs is changing. Not too long ago having a Mac was tantamount to admitting that one was cooky, or nuts. I hated the fact that though I am in IT, actually own many machines, manage others, but the moment I admitted I owned even one Mac - I was immediately a "Mac-head" and no longer worth talking to.

Now, a few scant years later, we have the same situation, but instead of a sneer, or a "Oh, you're one of those, I get an "Oh really? Tell me more.".

Well, there is still a camp of hard-line belittlers who will hold on to the last to try to feel better than others and the PC vs/ Mac debate is the one they know.

I suspect this fellow is a member of that camp, and because he sees this trend too, he's rebelling, vainly shouting at the rain, trying to stop the train.

And that really disturbs this guys view of the world.
