Found this mockup with a recent online article. I know it's not Apple's iPhone yet I liked the front (albeit the bezels still exist). The back is more HTC, no way Apple would go for it although the camera position is ideal. It reminded me of an iPhone patent that made rounds during the 3GS models detailing a camera centered behind the front display. Placing a rear camera not far from it would be similar to the current positions of the front and back top camera's, further eliminating the need for bezels if the home button is incorporated with the display as a haptic button. The patent went into detail on how a camera behind a display would work while improving quality (thinner OLED panel that dims when camera's in use, coating that eliminates fingerprints, etc).

If those ever made it into the 10th anniversary iPhone, I'd be very happy.

This has been the thumbnail/clickbait for articles about the "next" iPhone for literally years. I'm not even kidding. People were claiming this was the iPhone 5!

Ha! Seriously? Never knew.

I might be exaggerating a tad. Maybe not the 5, but definitely before the 6. Even major sites like cnet use it as a thumbnail in every "new iPhone" speculation article. They never claim it's legit, it's just click bait.

Look, here it is (among other fake designs) in an article about the 6 in 2014: http://aweb.grovemade.com/blog/14712737/sapphire-and-liquidmetal-display-likely-for-iphone-6/

Trust me, soon after the 7 launches the same pic will be featured in stories about the 8.
