Right now, the best selling iPhones on AT&T are

1) iPhone X 256G Space Gray
2) iPhone X 256G Silver
3) iPhone X 64G Silver
4) iPhone 8+ 64G Space Gray
5) iPhone 8+ 64G Gold
6) iPhone X 64G Space Gray
7) iPhone 8+ 256G Gold
Then you get a few Samsung phones, a few more iPhone 8+, then an 8

Few observations

1) It is pretty clear that the iPhone X will be the best selling single iPhone model of this "generation". It probably will end up with over 50% market share
2) iPhone 8+ is significantly more popular than the iPhone 8

It seems like it could be something like 55% X, 35% 8+, 20% 8

The one thing you have to take in consideration regardless of those statistics, the iPhone 8 long term will be the better selling of the two iPhones between the X Because of the price point. And the 8 is still Widely more available over the iPhone X at moment.

If the 8 / Plus is widely more available & the iPhone X is the selling better (according to the limited data point of just AT&T). The 8 really undersold or is production supply not as bad as reported? I'm not trying to create a false dichotomy, I'm welcoming an alternate viewpoint.
